Very Nice, 5 Nov 2010

I noticed recently that you can buy pretty much anything on Amazon these days, so when I couldn't find a nice computer desk in the usual shops I looked online. This one fits perfectly into the space I wanted to put it in. It also matches my TV stand bought from PC World. It was so easy to put together (Although I would suggest asking someone else to help!) and extremely well packaged. Not only that by it qualifies for Free delivery. It looks very good with my black PC. You might need to dust a little more than normal though. Very good value for money.

Great looking, bad build., 15 Jan 2011

I have had this desk for a few days now and it looks beautiful. But to my dissapointment, this is the only good thing about it. Unfortunately for the price, it is not a great quality product. Building it was easy enough but I encountered problem after problem.
(1) First of all, the slide out keyboard tray was damaged. One of the little (great looking) metal fixers wasn't attached to the glass. I am going to have to glue it back on but at the moment the glass is just resting on it, really annoying.
(2) The little hang down tray for your computer is useless. Once it was fitted, the holes for the screws were so badly placed that it caused the tray to sit on a weird bending angle. This just caused my computer to constantly wobble, terrible design.
(3) Once assembled, I had to remove the metal back panel as there just isn't enough room for my computer to fit under the desk without it sticking out of the front, possibly causing me to run into it with my chair. Once this was removed, the entire desk feels very wobbly and I am going to have to fit it back on and find a new place for my computer.

For the price it is a very shoddy product. Apart from all of this, it is a beautiful looking desk and the only reason I am not returning it is because I won't get a nicer looking one for the price. Very unhappy with the quality but happy with the look. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because 2 stars is labled 'I dont like it', which I do.... so 3 stars it is.

This desk is a sight to behold.

Delivery: Well packaged and protected. Although it did look as if the box had been opened before, perhaps to check that all the contents were there, I don't know. Also the packing straps used by the carrier cut into the box but no damage done.

Assembly: The instructions were clear and easy to follow. A small thing to watch out for is partially sealed or undrilled holes. However, these can be pushed through with a screwdriver. Also, the small screws holding the keyboard frame to the runners require you to screw the fixing in before you attempt to do it on the desk. The reason for this is the self tapping screw used require a little force to get them to take, doing this beforehand on a table or the floor makes it a lot easier.

Looks: Stunning, Glossy and Dark. Currently on this desk I have a 22in Widescreen Monitor, PS3, Pelican PS3 Dock Charger, 2 x Phones and 2 x External HDDs. It holds all of these with no problem with space to spare.

My only Issue: The PC Tower tray. While it may hold retail towers, my custom tower is considerably larger and it protrudes at the front and only just fits height wise. If I can edit this later, I will post the tray size as it is missing from the product specs.

Regardless, I am very happy with this product.

P.S I hope you all like dusting!:) This desk shows it all.

This laminator takes a maximum of 250 microns. The pouches that are on offer with this machine are 150 microns. Pouches are measured using one side only therefore the total thickness of these pouches are 300 microns so how can they be used with this machine? I've only clicked 1 star because I haven't purchased the machine, just need an answer.

I bought this product because it was not too expensive and I had seen others use it, and seen it advertised. It has done its job ok. I have had back problems for a while and find sitting difficult, especially on non-adjustable chairs. The sit right seems to help, and making sitting less painful. The only difficulties Ive found with it are that it seems to slip downwards off the chair if it doesnt have a full back, which means you need to keep adjusting it. It is also quite large, so I wouldnt take it anywhere unless I was driving there.

This is an amazing product. I have arthritis of the spine and spend many hours per week orchestral playing. Not all the chairs we are expected to sit on in different venues are suitable for the purpose. However, with the use of this back support, I am able to play in comfort for long periods. The cost on Amazon is minimal, but the advantages are enormous, making it possible to maintain a good sitting position, thus taking stress off the spine.

One word of warning which is not a criticism of the back support in the least, but rather of chair design,is that it doesn't function too well on chairs that have incomplete backs. In other words, if there is a strip of wood/ plastic at the top of the chair back and then a great void where the lower part of your back should be able to rest comfortably, the back support system just falls through the void because it has nothing to rest against. Dreadful chairs!!

Ordering through Amazon meant that it arrived very quickly, and was, all in all, a very worthwhile and cost effective purchase. Try one, you'll love it!!

If you work for a stingy boss like I do that's too cheap to buy decent chairs OR a decent support for their hard working employees with bad backs, seriously consider buying this back support. Here's a few things I liked...

-its not expensive
-its comfortable
-its lightweight
-you can easily and quickly move it from chair to chair
-it conforms to a wide range of backs

What sets this low back support apart from others is that its made of a "mesh" material, which provides a rare combination of support, while at the same time, gives in to conform to your back. The chair is good. Takes up a fair bit of room. You can recline it easily enough. It is comfortable to sit on.

The only complaint I have is that it is quite difficult to build it properly. I did it myself, but I think it would be best to do it with two people. I found when I built it, it was slightly lop-sided and I had to take apart the bottom stand part of the chair to re-adjust the "feet" so they were all level. Took me about an hour and a half to do all that.

Other than that, con't complain. It is of good quality genuine leather and the wood has a nice finish, so it looks the part and I can sit on it for hours at a time, so it is comfortable, too. If you're looking for a chair to sit in front of your tv or computer or in a bedroom, then maybe this chair is the choice for you.
